新课标背景下如何提升不同学段学生的英语写作能力？万源城协和双语学校初中部英语组带你探索一下。

2022年11月17日，万源协和十周年校庆“学术主题月”系列活动暨上海市民办中小学中青年优秀教师团队发展项目展示活动初中英语教研专场在我校成功举行。上海市教委教研室初中英语教研员、特级教师赵尚华老师莅临与指导。全力校长，初中部孙曜主任，小学部陈洁主任和初中部英语教师全程参与了本次活动。本次活动由初中部英语组长万敏珍老师主持。

On November 17th, Mr. Zhao Shanghua, Master Teacher, the Municipal level head teacher of Middle School English in Shanghai, visited and guided SUIS Wanyuan Middle School English team on “Implementing the New National English Curriculum and improving writing skills in students”. SUIS WY Principal Paul Quan, Head of Middle School Mr. Sun,  Head of Primary School Jessica Chen, all middle school English teachers attended the seminar. Helen Wan hosted the event.

本次活动由教学展示、说课、专题研讨、专家点评等四个板块组成。

The activity mainly consists of demo lessons、 lesson introduction、themed presentation and experts' guidance.

在教学展示环节，沈珺雯老师和朱立凡老师分别呈现了六年级写作My dream job和九年级写作How to improve memory。

Two demo lessons are presented by Jovienne Shen and Vivian Zhu, on the topic G6 My dream job and G9 How to improve memory respectively.

在本堂课中，沈老师围绕话题，从内容、逻辑、语言三方面设计了一系列学生活动。整堂课，以学生为主体，鼓励学生自主产出，培养了学生的英语语言运用能力，提升了学生的写作自信。

Jovienne designed a series of related activities based on the content, logical relationship and language of the writing to reinforce students writing confidence and promote their English competencies.

How to improve memory

在本节课中，朱老师通过视频导入，小组讨论等活动调动了学生的积极性和激发了学生深度思考。写后环节，学生进一步探讨了超级记忆力的利弊，引领学生从不同角度看待同一事物，进一步提升了思维品质。

As for Vivian’s lesson, students’ interest is greatly aroused and their thinking qualities are further cultivated through brainstorming and group discussion. Another highlight of this class is the natural generation of writing checklist based on the students’ discussion in class. 

说课 Lesson Introduction

课后，两位授课老师从教什么（What）、怎么教（How）、教得如何（My reflection）三方面进行说课，呈现她们对这堂课的设计过程以及思考。

主题研讨 Themed Presentation

随后，我校六、九年级英语备课组结合新课标，从年级特征出发，作了专题分享与发言。六年级主要从学情分析、学业要求和语言技能要求三方面展开思考。九年级聚焦单元视角写作教学，并且提出在写作教学中要重视学生写作内容和技能培养相结合。

After that，our Grade 6 and Grade 9 team shared their ideas on how to improve students’ writing skills.  G6 mainly focused on the students’ analysis and academic requirements while G9 team suggests approaching writing lessons from the unit perspective and guiding students to strike a balance between content and skills.

01以学生为主体，关注课堂生成

Students-oriented class

今天的两节写作课中，通过开放性问题链的设计充分调动了学生的积极性，老师在教学中能巧妙的将学生课堂生成转变成理想的教学资源。通过小组讨论、段落样本分析与同伴互评等活动，激发思维碰撞，鼓励学生自主表达。

02以段落样本为载体，提炼评价量表

在六年级写作教学中，学生通过句子排序、段落样本修改、段落补充等活动，在老师的引领下，讨论写作内容，构建写作支架，梳理行文逻辑，提炼评价量表，为学生基于评价的自主写作做了非常好的铺垫。

03优化学生活动 践行英语学习活动观

Optimized students’activities 

在九年级的课堂中，通过头脑风暴激活旧知，从课堂生成提炼说明方法，基于要点独立成文，基于量表生生评价，讨论“超级记忆力的利与弊”等活动，引导学生梳理行文逻辑，提炼说明方法，内化所学知识与迁移运用。

Mr. Zhao, Master Teacher, the Municipal level head teacher of Middle School English in Shanghai commented as follows.

Both of the young teachers can smartly transfer the students 'discussion in class into teaching content,  through which students’ thinking abilities and autonomous expression are greatly promoted. Another highlight is the well-designed writing samples, through which students are involved in class actively to outline the writing structure, to make the writing relevant and to summarize the evaluation elements in a natural way. These two lessons are good examples of implementing “ views on English learning activities”.
