Learning can happen outside the classroom. When Spring is in full bloom, it is the right time to do the field trip. Recently, our students visited the zoo to embrace the nature and step into the ancient Zhongshan Mausoleum, and experienced the Chinese cultural heritage.
This week, Mr. Jiang Shuwen, a famous anchor of Hebei Meteorological Bureau and weather forecaster of Hebei Provincial TV, was invited to give a wonderful lecture about weather knowledge to our school teachers and students. Mr. Jiang explained the common types of meteorological hazards in detail and defense measures in a graphic way, and taught students about meteorological knowledge in a vivid way through case studies and video animations!
This Saturday, the annual Australian Kangaroo Maths test is here! Unlike traditional math Olympiads that emphasize high difficulty and challenge, the Kangaroo Maths competition aims to use interesting and vivid questions close to life to stimulate children's interest and confidence in learning mathematics, develop students' mathematical thinking, and train them to read, understand, analyze and solve problems.
To deepen students' understanding of the culture and folklore of different countries and to be a global citizen with international vision, our first BLS international day will be organized on April 21st. You will experience the special costume of different countries, enjoy different food, win stamps for gifts in the knowledge quiz, flea market, book floating, etc. Meanwhile, students can voluntarily donate money in the flea market activities, and the collected money will be donated to Shijiazhuang Social Welfare Institute in the form of goods.
