上海闵行区协和双语教科学校“翻译之美”朗读者系列活动

2021年12月22日下午，我校BC国际课程部举办了“翻译之美”——朗读者系列活动，旨在让同学们了解到一字一句间所蕴含的独特的美感。本次活动分为“爱生活”、“爱情”与“爱国”三个模块展开，每个模块都有相应的节目展现其主题思想。

In the afternoon of December 22, 2021, Language Support teachers and China Think Big (CTB) Club of Jiaoke BC organized an event entitled "The Beauty of Translation". It is held to promote the unique beauty of Chinese language and English language. The event is divided into three modules: "Beauty of Life", "Beauty of Love" and "Beauty of People", each of which had a series of performances to present the theme.

伴随着欢快的钢琴乐曲，我们的节目也正式拉开了序幕。一个个令人期待的节目轮番上场，有令同学们捧腹大笑的相声，有深情款款的朗诵，有精彩绝伦的小品，也有智慧碰撞的谈话类节目。在节目与节目之间，也有优美的芭蕾舞等节目转场。

With cheerful music from auditorium piano,the event began. There was a variety of performances, including funny comedies, heartfelt recitations, brilliant talk shows. Between the performances is beautiful ballet shows.

本次活动节目形式多样，丰富多彩，不但展现了学生们多才多艺、热情向上的积极一面，也体现了他们对文学的热爱和对不同语言文字的独特理解。

The programmes was varied and colourful, showing not only the students' versatility and enthusiasm, but also their love for literature and their unique understanding of different languages.

在节目的最后，我们的主持人也为师生们送上了元旦祝福，祝愿大家在新的一年平安顺利，身体健康，学啥都会，考试全A！

《故都的秋》表演者代表徐玮联同学：

我们小组采用了朗诵的形式，将文本进行中英文对照展现给大家。我们很喜欢这篇散文，作者郁达夫先生在这篇文章中将北平的秋天所带给人的悲凉之美展现的淋漓尽致，我们也希望将这种美感展现给大家。作为国际学校的学生，英语固然已经成为了我们日常学习中所不能缺少的一部分，同时，作为一个中国人，中文才是我们的母语，我们也必须能够体会中文的美丽之处。

Our group read aloud to present the text in both English and Chinese. We loved this prose. The author, Mr. Yu Dafu, brought out the beauty of the sadness of autumn in Beiping, and we wanted to bring this beauty to all. As students in an international program, English has become an inevitable part of our daily classes. However, the Chinese language, our mother tongue, is also what we must also be able to appreciate its beauty.

《爱国诗歌联诵》表演者代表徐诗蕴同学：

在这次翻译之美的活动中，我参与了《爱国诗歌联诵》的跨年级诵读表演。我们选取了《沁园春·雪》等经典篇目，在课余时间里抽空排练着。从字音语调到变换队形，老师不断给予我们改进的建议，我自己也在一次次的琅琅诵读声中体会到了这些诗词所传达出的豪迈昂扬的爱国情感。我认为这样的活动能够培养我们青少年感悟诗词之美的能力，同时也丰富了我们的校园生活。

In the event of Beauty in Translation, I took part in a cross-grade recitation performance of 'Patriotic Poetry United'. We chose classical pieces such as Qin Yuan Chun - Snow and took time to rehearse them. From the intonation of the words to the formation changes, our Chinese teachers gave us many suggestions, and I experienced the magnificent patriotic sentiments conveyed by these poems in the chanting. I believe that such activity will develop the ability of our young people to perceive the beauty of poetry and enrich our school life at the same time.

彭润珍老师：

活动设计的时候，我们只是希望大家能用一些不同的方式来展现中外优秀翻译作品中的语言之美，所以副标题定为“翻译之美”。这是一个有些偏学术的语言展示活动，没想到同学们的创意非凡，节目呈现的形式多样，让活动效果远超过我们的预期：同学们真是太棒了！

The event was designed with the hope that we could present the beauty of languages in new ways. That’s why we use the subtitle “The Beauty of Translation”. It somewhat relies more on academic skills, soe we were a bit worried about the final performance. However, to our surprise, the creativity of the students made it far more creative than we had expected: Our students were fantastic!

时阳老师：

这次朗读者的活动我看见了同学们一次次的认真准备，在指导他们的舞台动作和形象时，常常会遇到学生跟我说“老师，我感觉不会走路了”，但即便这样，他们也都很努力的练习并克服这些困难。我感受到了学生们的力求把最好的一面展现给观众，幕后工作的同学们认真负责，老师们也齐心协力。所有的一切都是为了展示最好的一面。

I saw the seriousness of students from this event. When I was instructing them on their stage movements and images, I was encouraged by a student who told me, "Teacher, I find I don’t know how to walk now". Preparation is hard, but even so, students have overcome many difficulties. Student volunteers also worked hard, as well as Chinese teachers. It was all to present the best to the audience.

在这次活动中，最吸引我的节目莫过于由9和10年级同学们共同参演的以爱国为主题的朗诵节目。第一首诗歌《春望》铿锵有力的声音深深震撼了我，第二首《满江红·怒发冲冠》中的“莫等闲，白了少年头，空悲切！”讲述要抓紧时间为国建功立业，不要空空将青春消磨，等年老时徒自悲切！同学们通过用中英文结合的方式为观众演绎出一场绝妙的演出。

The most fascinating part of the event was the patriotic recitation by Grade 9 and 10 students. The powerful voice of the first poem impressed me deeply. The second poem is “Man Jiang Hong - Raging Hair" from Yue fei. “Don't wait for your youth to turn white, but feel sad!” It is about the need to seize the time to build a career for the country and not to waste your youth in vain and be sad when you are old! Students have give me a fantastic performance.

我比较喜欢《故都的秋》这一篇文章的朗读，听着台上同学们的朗读，清、静、悲凉的秋意扑面而来，我仿佛置身于北方。轻踩在铺了满地的像花而又不是花的落蕊上，聆听着极其细微的衰弱的蝉声。一想到即将远走求学，那时的我又会对故乡怀有怎样的心情呢?

I enjoyed the reading of 'Autumn in the Old Capital'. Listening to the students reading aloud on stage, I felt like I was in the north, enjoying the clear, quiet and sad autumnal atmosphere. I stepped gently on the fallen leaves and flowers, and listened to the extremely subtle and faint sound of cicadas. How would I feel about my home country when I study abroad in the near future?

我比较喜欢《无怨的青春》这首诗朗诵，这首诗表达了两个曾经相爱过的人迫不得已而分离的悲伤故事，无论世事如何变迁，爱已成往事。朗读者们将席慕蓉想表达的情感体现的淋漓尽致。今天的活动促进了我们对中华传统和西方文化的理解，展现出了同学们很强的朗读功底，同时也学到了很多关于翻译的知识。我希望这样有意义的节目能够多多举办。

I prefer the performance of the poem “Youth without Complaint”, which expresses a sad story of two people who once loved each other and had no choice but to part.No matter what has happened, love has become a thing of the past. The readers embodied the emotions that Silvia wanted to express. Today's event promoted our understanding of Chinese traditions and Western culture, demonstrated the students' strong reading skills, and also taught us a lot about translation. I hope to see more events like.
