While a new academic is about to unfold, Dulwich College Beijing (DCB) has the immense pleasure to welcome Ms Tracey Francis as the newly appointed Head of Early Years. Ms Francis brings her passion and exhaustive experience in Early Years education. We are looking forward to welcoming her on board, and wish her a smooth relocation and the best of success in her new role!

    Ms Francis received her BA (Joint Hons) in Accounting and Human Resource Management from Middlesex University and a PGCE in Primary Education from Kingston University. She is currently completing her MBA in Educational Leadership at University College London. She joins us from a school in Kuwait where she was the Head of a Pre-Prep and the Designated Safeguarding Lead, which recently received the International Schools Award for Safeguarding 2021. Prior to this, Ms Francis has been a Headteacher Designate and a Head of School in London, England. Most of her experience has been in London primary schools where she taught from EYFS to KS2 and held middle and senior leadership roles. She spent a short spell in Muscat, Oman which was her first international post. On occasion, she has spent her summers as a Programme Director for summer schools in St Catharine’s College Cambridge (16–18 year-olds) and St Mary’s School Ascot (7–13 year-olds). In her free time, Ms Francis enjoys sporty activities, cooking, and travelling with her daughter. 

Ms Francis has already gone through a virtual onboarding Q&A session with the DCB Early Years student leaders. Let’s watch how she addressed the challenging questions our youngest leaders had for her!

Francis女士毕业于英国密德萨斯大学会计和人力资源管理学士学位，并在英国金斯顿大学获得小学教育的PGCE。她目前正在伦敦大学学院攻读MBA教育领导课程。在加入北京德威以前，她在科威特的一所学校担任学前校长和儿童安全主任，并获得2021年儿童安全保护国际学校奖。在此之前，Francis女士一直在英国伦敦的学校担任校长。她的大部分经验都是在伦敦学校的学前和小学阶段，在那里她从学前到KeyStage 2均有任教经验，并担任中高级领导职务。她的第一个国际学校职位在阿曼的首都马斯喀特。Francis女士的部分暑假会在剑桥圣凯瑟琳学院（16-18岁）和圣玛丽阿斯科特女子学校（7-13岁）担任暑期课程的项目总监。在业余时间，Francis女士喜欢运动、烹饪和与女儿一起旅行。
