1论坛简介 VYLC Intro

维多利亚青年领袖营——全球青年论坛是“维多利亚未来领袖青少年交流项目” (Victorian Young Leadership to China Program, VYLC)的衍生活动,论坛通过线上连线形式为维州9-10年级以及来自世界各地的中学生提供互动交流、各抒己见、共同学习的平台。论坛由三部分组成——论坛准备、主论坛和论坛总结。

参与学生与来自世界各地的同龄人在线互动、聆听讲座,以联合国可持续发展目标(SDGs)为框架,探讨当前环境下的部分全球性话题,包括成为全球公民的意义、需要具备的知识技能等内容;在国际交往中具备包容性、开放交流以及乐于发现对方与自己的相似和不同之处的心态;面对全球或区域中存在的问题和挑战,以设计思维的模式提出解决困难的方式等等。

The Victorian Young Leadership Camp - Global Youth Forum is a spin-off of the Victorian Young Leadership to China Program (VYLC), which provides a platform for secondary school students in Years 9-10 and from around the world to interact, express their views and learn together through an online connection.

The forum consists of three parts - the preparation, the main forum and the summary. Participating students interacted online with peers from around the world, listened to lectures, and used the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as a framework to explore some of the global topics in the current environment, including what it means to be a global citizen and the knowledge and skills needed to do so; to be inclusive and open in international interactions and to be open to discovering the similarities and differences between each other and themselves; and to face global or regional issues and challenges.

The program is designed to address global and regional issues and challenges in a design-thinking manner. A total of nine secondary schools in Shanghai actively applied for this event, and seven students from Years 8-9 of our International Department participated, under the guidance of Ms. Yun Shen, and all received certificates of completion from the Asia Education Foundation of the University of Melbourne.

1论坛准备Prepare for the forum

本次活动中,上海共有9所中学积极报名,我校国际部8-9年级共有7名同学参加,由沈赟老师指导,均获得了来自墨尔本大学亚洲教育基金会(Asia Education Foundation)所发放的优秀项目完成证书。

2主论坛The main forum

在主论坛中,同学们就世界各国的学生就全球公民的概念、身份认知、文化认知差异、模式化观念(刻板印象)等话题展开讨论,例如有些学生选择在中学时期出国学习,有些选择参加跳舞、绘画等形式的艺考,同时同学们还分享了中国独特的汉服和礼仪文化,以及许多惯用的手势在不同国家寓意截然不同的涵义,这些正是文化背景所带来的差异。从这些提到的选题中,学生们将会从中选出一个自己感兴趣的主题,与其他小组成员一起完成由所选课题所展开的研究讨论结果。

In the main forum, some students chose to study abroad during their secondary school years, others chose to take art exams such as dancing and painting, while students also shared the unique Chinese costume and etiquette culture, as well as the fact that many of the usual gestures have very different meanings in different countries, which are the result of cultural backgrounds. From the topics mentioned, students will choose a topic that interests them and work with other group members to complete a research discussion on their chosen topic.

1论坛收获Feelings about this forum

在本次活动历程中,同学们也都收获良多,在与来自其他国家的同龄人进行的多元化小组交流期间,我们也聆听到了来自不同地方的学生们对于各个问题的不同见解,学会了从不同的角度去考虑相同的问题,感受到了在不同国家和文化差异的背景下,相同问题可以引发的不同结果。

同学们在思考解决方法的过程中,也了解了不同国家的文化,分享了彼此的生活模式、特殊的习性等等。本次活动让我们拓宽了自己的视野,也理解了身为全球公民的义务与责任,提高了各国同学对于全球公民的意识,从而更加坚定了自己成为一名合格的全球公民的决心。

Feelings about this forum

We learned to consider the same problem from different perspectives and to feel the different outcomes of the same problem in the context of different countries and cultural differences. This activity broadened our horizons and understanding of the duties and responsibilities of being a global citizen, and raised the awareness of global citizenship among students from different countries, thus strengthening our determination to become a qualified global citizen.
