Reading in Spring: World Book Day

每年的4月23日是国际公认的世界读书日。著名作家高尔基曾说过，书是人类进步的阶梯。阅读，让我们在有限的时空里，得到无限广大的日子。融合部语文组及英语组，带领大家用书籍和阅读连接世界的每个角落，开启了一场读书之旅。

大家纷纷穿着自己喜爱的书籍中角色的服装，如哈利波特、贾宝玉、安娜·卡列尼娜......各种书里的人物齐降于杭世外融合部，他们会碰撞出怎样的火花呢？

April 23rd is the World Book Day. The famous writer Gorky once said that books are the ladder of human progress. Reading gives us an infinitely day in a limited time and space. The Chinese and English group of the IC, led a reading journey on this day. Everyone dressed up in the costumes of their favorite characters from books, such as Harry Potter, Jia Baoyu, Anna Karenina ...... Various characters from the books showed up at school.

陈俊竹同学带来的“welcome to wonderland”让同学们仿佛身处梦境。大家也跟随Bryce老师的舞步律动了起来。

Carol Chen's song "welcome to wonderland" put everyone in a dream, and the teacher Bryce Hu's swing dance is quite a hit. 

知识竞答

在欢乐的开场表演之后，读书节迎来了主要环节：reading quiz。在这个环节，同学们要根据自己了解的书本知识抢答题目，答对了可以获得小礼品。问题丰富多彩，有常识题，积累题，内容题和线索题等，考察了同学们对于《鲁滨逊漂流记》《哈利波特》《骆驼祥子》等书本内容的了解。同学们争先恐后地答题，非常积极。大家共同探索了世界各地的书籍和文化，交流了对书籍的喜爱。

After a joyful opening performance, the main part came: reading quiz, in which students had to answer questions based on their knowledge of the books and received a small gift if they answered correctly. The questions examined students' knowledge of Robinson Crusoe, Harry Potter, Camel Xiangzi and other books. Students competed to be the first to answer the questions. We all explored books and cultures from around the world and exchanged our love for books.

人物猜猜猜

在这个环节中有几名同学与老师走上台，说出他们所扮演角色的一句台词，然后由下面的观众来猜。其中最受大家欢迎的有绘本人物派大星、贾宝玉、林黛玉、王熙凤、哈里波特等。大家在交流中展现了自己对于书籍人物的独特理解和创意呈现。

In this part there were several students and teachers who came up to the stage and said one line of the character they were playing, and then the audience below guessed the characters. Some of the most popular ones were the Patrick Star, Jia Baoyu, Lin Daiyu, Wang Xifeng and Harry Potter. Everyone showed their unique understanding and creative presentation of the book characters.

不知不觉读书节到了最后的环节，每个人都得到了三张贴纸，同学们需要将贴纸贴到自己喜欢的角色身上，大家还与各种人物进行了合影。

The book day came to its final session, where everyone was given three stickers to put on their favorite characters, and everyone took pictures with various characters.

快乐的时光是短暂的。本次活动也在同学们的声声赞美和惊叹中结束了。大家一同探索了世界各地的优秀文学作品，品味文化的韵味，对书籍也有了自己独特的理解。

在阅读中，我们可以寻觅更加真实、丰富的自己。无论大家是否爱上阅读，我们都希望通过阅读这件事，在世界上相逢更多有趣的灵魂。我们希望能够在沮丧、迷茫时，握住一束不会消失的光。如果你对世界充满好奇，那就去读书吧！
