常外双语五年级学生即将走过小学课程的最后一年，跨入初中学段。于他们，两个学部一楼之隔，却是两个天地。他们或许有点好奇，有点担忧，更有强烈的期待。

为了让孩子们更好地适应初中课程，并做好充足准备，初中部精心开展了小初衔接系列活动。

CBS 5th Graders are finishing their final year of primary school and entering middle school. For them, the two teaching buildings may be different worlds. They may be a little curious, a little worried, but they also have strong expectations.

In order to help them adapt to the middle school curriculum, MYP has launched a series of transitional activities.

家长工作坊

Parents Workshop

由初中部韩月芳校长向五年级家长们介绍初中课程体系、中外师资、课外活动、双轨教学以及德育管理等。

在长达三小时的工作坊中，家长们积极互动，就如何提高孩子们的国际视野，学业准备等展开热烈讨论。

MYP principal Ms. Luna Han introduced the MYP curriculum, staff, extra-curricular activities, dual-track teaching, and student development to G5 parents.

During the three-hour workshop, parents actively interacted with each other and had lively discussions on how to broaden their children's international perspectives and make academic preparations etc.

Student’s MYP Course Experience

课程体系是一个学校的核心，也是学生生活的重要部分。

利用半天时间，G5学生们身临其境感受MYP课程，学生们体验了双语科学的奇妙，融合体育的动感，多元心理的觉察和国际英文的广度。

The curriculum is the heart of a school and an important part of students' lives.

Taking a half day to immerse themselves in the MYP curriculum, G5 students experienced the Science, PE, Mental Health and English classes.

Seniors Talk

本次衔接活动特邀现六年级学长学姐们面对面与G5学生进行交流互动，分享日常课时学习情况、课后精力分配、自主管理、语言学习等话题。

The transition invited current G6 representatives to meet and interact with G5 students face to face, sharing topics such as subject learning, after-school activities, self-management, and language learning.

Teachers’Round-table Conference

本次采用圆桌会议形式，在课程协调员及德育协调员牵头下，小初学部的班主任代表及任课老师代表，从学生学业学情、行为活动等方面展开讨论与精进。

There was a round-table discussion led by the Curriculum Coordinator and Student Development Coordinator, where homeroom teachers and subject teachers from both department focused on the students’ academic and behavioral performances.

学生们通过小初衔接一系列活动，对未来初中学习与生活产生了强烈的期待与渴望。期待他们蓄势而发，顺利开启初中生活新篇章！

Through a series of activities, the students have developed a strong sense of anticipation on their future studies and life in MYP. We look forward to seeing them start a new chapter of MYP life successfully!
