2022万源城协和双语学校学子们在2022年澳大利亚数学测评(AMC)中荣获大奖

2022 Australian Mathematics Competition (AMC)Awards Winners

2022年9月24日，阿思丹（香港）举办的 “2022年澳大利亚数学测评” 在线上及考点学校同时进行 。来自上海市民办万源城协和双语学校的169名学生参与此次活动。

On September 24, 2022, the "2022 Australian Mathematics Competition" organized by ASDAN (China, Hong Kong) was conducted simultaneously online and at the test site schools. One hundred sixty-nine students from the Shanghai United International school Wanyuan Campus, participated in this event.

澳大利亚数学测评

澳大利亚数学测评(AMC)由澳大利亚数学联合会(AMT)主办。澳大利亚数学联合会(AMT)由澳大利亚著名数学家Peter O'Halloran发起创办，是国际权威的学术机构之一，旨在丰富各个阶段学生的数学教育内容，提供更前沿的数学思想、理论动态和教育资源。AMT每年通过澳大利亚数学测评AMC 为澳大利亚选拔国际数学奥林匹克国家代表队。AMC目前是全球历史悠久的金牌校际数学测评，共有来自 32 个国家的 1600 万学生参与到该活动，新颖的题型和多语言试题让全球的数学爱好者们得以在数学领域深刻切磋，共同学习，并深刻认识数学在生活中的重要性。

The Australian Mathematics Assessment (AMC) is organized by the Australian Mathematical Trust (AMT). AMT is one of the leading international academic institutions that aims to enrich the mathematical education of students at all levels and to provide more cutting-edge mathematical ideas, theoretical developments, and educational resources. Now the AMC is the world's longest-running gold medal inter-school mathematics assessment, with 16 million students from 32 countries participating in the event. Moreover, its innovative and multilingual test questions allow mathematics enthusiasts worldwide to interact, learn together and gain a deep understanding of the importance of mathematics in their lives.

此次上海市民办万源城协和双语学校的参与学生取得了优异的成绩，共获得了1个Peter O'Halloran 全球成就奖，1个全国卓越奖，2个全国一等奖，33个全国二等奖，72个全国三等奖，45个数学技能奖。他们分别是：

They won one PETER O'HALLORAN Award of Excellence , one Prize Award, two l High Distinction Awards, 33 Distinction Awards, 72  Credit Awards, and 45 Mathematics Proficiency Awards. They are:

毕达哥拉斯说：“数学支配着宇宙”。哈尔莫斯说：“数学是一种别具匠心的艺术”。高斯说：“数学是科学之王。”罗素说：“数学是符号加逻辑”。从这些数学名言中，我们知道了数学与宇宙、科学有关。当下的人工智能、大数据、云计算、生物医药、航空航天、海洋工程、先进制造、油气开采、新型能源，还有一些不为人知的领域。这些领域的尖端科技都和数学有着千丝万缕的联系。所以，同学，当我们还是懵懂少年，还在数学符号和数学计算推理中“拉扯”，遇到难题恨不得把它打碎，可是情绪平复后还得继续挑战。为什么呢 ？答案就在老师列举的应用领域中。因为每个领域都可以让我们去把梦想实现。为了自己的未来，要和数学好好面对面，迎接挑战，攻坚克难，才能有希望站在科学技术的尖端，做一名科技青年，为国家做贡献。到那时，定当感谢数学的陪伴。

Pythagoras said: "Mathematics governs the universe." Halmos said, "Mathematics is an art with originality." Gauss said, "Mathematics is the king of sciences." Russell said, "Mathematics is symbols plus logic." These mathematical quotes show that mathematics is related to the universe and science. Today's artificial intelligence, big data, cloud computing, biomedicine, aerospace, marine engineering, advanced manufacturing, oil and gas extraction, and new energy sources still have some lesser-known fields. The cutting-edge technologies in these fields are all inextricably linked to mathematics. So, students, when we are still teenagers, still "pulling" in mathematical symbols and mathematical calculation and reasoning, when we encounter a complex problem, we want to smash it, but after the emotion calms down, we still have to continue the challenge. Why? The answer lies in the fields of application listed by the teacher. Because each area allows us to make, our dreams come true. For the sake of our future, we must meet the challenges of mathematics face to face and overcome the difficulties so that we can hope to stand at the cutting edge of science and technology, be young men of science and technology, and contribute to our country. At that time, be sure to thank the company of mathematics.

再次恭喜我校所有获奖同学，也感谢每一位参与者的努力，让我们有幸一起分享这份荣耀，一起把数学符号和数学思维记在脑子里，一起让数学成为成长的伴侣，亦成为为社会做贡献的工具。
