Training of Xiehe Cross Campus BPhO Competition Team

虽已是冬季且正处于寒假假期之间，但来自协和教育旗下七所国际高中遴选出的22位优秀高中学子仍怀着高涨的热情参与着英国物理奥赛(BPhO)竞赛的课程。

Twenty-two carefully selected students from seven schools (Jiaoke, Gubei, Wanyuan, Wuxi, Qingpu, Xiamen ITC and Sanlin) have started their training camp on the Sanlin campus at the end of December to prepare for the approaching competitions organized by British Physics Olympiad (BPhO), which aims to encourage the study of Physics among the youth and recognize excellence in young physicists.

BPhO是一项全球著名的物理竞赛，始于 1979 年，1983 年正式为英国选拔国家代表队参与国际物理竞赛。BPhO十分注重物理知识的灵活运用，需要同学们运用自己所学物理知识完成挑战，涉猎的知识面非常广泛。这项考试并非要求把每道题都完成，而希望学生能在练习和刷题的过程中寻找到自己最感兴趣的部分进行深究。

BPhO has organized world famous physics competitions annually since 1979. Participation in a BPhO is a challenge for able students which allows them to have fun problem solving, to experience the perseverance and determination, to test their knowledge with stimulating questions, and to see the real world problem-solving potential of physics.

同学们或受地域的限制或受疫情的影响，但丝毫没有减少学习的动力。我们通过线上和线下结合的授课方式，零距离零时差的积极开展学习。通过之前课程，同学们已经学习了力学部分整体概括，momentum和kinematic相关基础公式推导；也对kinematics，dynamics，moment和energy部分知识点在BPhO题目中的运用方式有新的了解与认识。在整个过程中，同学们对个别难题的解析应有了开阔的思路。

This BPhO pre-competition camp has adopted a flexible combination of on-site and online training. Students from different areas in China can have classes together at the same time. In addition to the basic knowledge about momentum, kinematics, dynamics and energy, students are also learning problem-solving skills, as well as the application of theories in real life.

2ACT GAC训练营

作为协和教育集团第一个，也是唯一一个ACT考点，大容量快节奏的ACT GAC训练营也在上海入冬的第一天于三林校区火热开启。来自不同协和校区的10年级学生们济济一堂，互相协作共同完成英语听说读写等任务，为彼此的努力和成功鼓掌喝彩！

As the first, also the only ACT test centre at SUIS, Sanlin Campus successfully opened the ACT GAC Winter Camp on December 24th. Students from various SUIS schools have actively worked together to study, to practice, to discuss, and to share, getting themselves ready for their future life at college.

希望同学们如冬日的暖阳，都能在自己的学习道路中绽放光芒，都能在征战BPhO和ACT的道路上，不断突破自己，终能找到自己的热爱。

All the hard work will pay off. “If you put in the time, put in the effort, you’re going to reap the benefits.” May every student make continuous breakthroughs in their study and reach their ultimate goals in BPhO and ACT!
